Patrick, great job on this assignment. I think you were spot on with who was experiencing the problem in each scenario. However, I believe we were only supposed to use one local newspaper for this and it seems that you used one from both Miami and Gainesville. Overall, the stories sound very interesting and could definitely relate to your daily life.
ReplyDeletePatrick,
ReplyDeleteI like how you went off to some local matters. I went to bigger cities and I think I ran into a more difficult time finding stories. I think you did a really good job capturing the issues and explaining them. I really like the first issue about the traffic. I think Gainesville keeps growing and we are not built to hold such a growing population. Very good job!
Patrick,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your list of local opportunities! I found your story about the Mile High stadium particularly interesting as I recently went out to visit a friend out in Colorado and got to see the stadium while I was there. There is definitely a lot of history in that name and it would be weird to refer to it as anything other than the Mile High Stadium. Overall great post!
Briana, I was born and raised in Denver, so that stadium has a special place in my memories.
